I oversaw the design journey from concept to launch for Now E, an Over-The-Top video streaming service. I prioritized user-friendly interfaces across platforms and optimized operational efficiency to maximize image and video content usage. Now E has achieved impressive growth, with over 100k subscribers in 4 years.
Extensive user research revealed that many users were hesitant to contact agents, but face-to-face explanations from agents remained crucial for closing deals. To address this, I proposed de-coupling the quote and apply processes, indicating that the complete online insurance selling platform was not yet ready for implementation. This solution successfully convinced the client HSBC to realign their business direction and allocate resources more accurately.
Prioritized and designed the service screen flow for 6 e-banking services. Conducted a series of workshops with the client to align UX knowledge and project expectations. Designed and executed initial user interviews to uncover e-banking behaviors and service priorities. In a second round of interviews, iterated on wireframes and hypotheses. Successfully prioritized services, identifying low-priority ones, allowing the client to allocate resources more effectively.
Partnered with the client to consistently track user search behavior. The initial research phase followed the established plan, while the subsequent round entailed dynamic collaboration with engineers to promptly refine the testing site based on insights from the first phase. Results unveiled which search outcomes prompted clicks, their acceptance of sponsored results if beneficial, and the effectiveness of presenting results across various media.
Crafted and executed a research plan for revamping a landing page to align with user expectations and business goals. Initial user interviews highlighted key scenarios: e-banking login, showcasing promotions, and desiring simplicity. Subsequent research validated hypotheses and wireframe preferences, enabling a user-friendly, optimized landing page that captivates visitors.
